IZMIR UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS QUALITY STUDENT GROUP OPERATING PRINCIPLES

Purpose

The objectives of the Quality Student Group are:

• To contribute to the dissemination of a culture of quality assurance and continuous improvement among students at the university,

• To support the active participation of students in quality processes,

• To contribute to the effective use of student feedback,

• To support the improvement of the quality of education from a student perspective.

Areas of Activity

• Contributing to the preparation and improvement of student satisfaction and feedback surveys

• Organizing events, workshops, stands, etc. to gather student feedback

• Preparing reports on courses and learning environments from the student perspective

• Identifying and sharing best practice examples

• Organizing informative seminars, workshops, etc. for students

• Collaborating with the Quality Coordination Office

• Participation in national quality workshops and student congresses

• Preparing quality-themed newsletters, brochures, and social media content

Membership and Operating Principles

The group consists of two members representing the Student Council and volunteer members who accept the open call and are deemed suitable by the Student Dean's Office and the Quality Coordination Office. The group operates as a structure connected to the Quality Commission and the Student Council.

A president and secretary are elected by the group members for a one-year term. Membership of a member who is absent three times in an academic year is terminated.

Meetings

Meetings are held once a month.

Events

The group organizes events aimed at disseminating quality assurance processes. Individuals responsible for each event are assigned. A post-event evaluation report is prepared.
