Quality Structure
IUE’s quality assurance mechanism is defined in detail within the Quality Assurance Framework documents, which represent a systematic approach followed to ensure the quality of education, research, social contribution, and administrative processes.
The Quality Commission carries out activities to promote the quality policy across our University, evaluate institutional performance, manage internal and external quality assurance processes, support accreditation efforts, and foster a culture of continuous improvement among all stakeholders. Furthermore, it coordinates the preparation of reports regarding quality processes, thereby contributing to the university’s goals of accountability, transparency, and sustainable development. Operating with a participatory management approach, the Quality Commission works in cooperation with all academic and administrative units, aiming to strengthen the institutional quality culture and spread the vision of excellence in higher education. Quality initiatives are conducted through the collaboration of the Quality Assurance Office and the committees for Education, Research and Innovation, Social Contribution, Internationalization, and Administrative Processes.
The Quality Assurance Office is responsible for providing institutional data, primarily for THEQC/CoHE and international rankings, as well as supporting institutional and program accreditation processes.
