Total Quality Structure
The quality assurance mechanism at İzmir University of Economics is carried out through the collaboration of the Education and Student Support, Internationalization, Research and Innovation, and Social Contribution committees, along with the Quality Assurance Office. The four main committees, led by the Vice Rectors (University Research and Innovation Committee, Education and Student Support Committee, Internationalization Committee, and Social Contribution Committee), form the foundation of this process, while the activities are followed by the Quality Assurance Office and evaluated by the Quality Commission. These structures coordinate all quality activities, aiming to elevate the overall quality level of the university.
The university's quality assurance mechanism is detailed in the Quality Assurance Framework, which represents a systematic approach to ensuring the quality of educational, research, social contribution, and management processes.
Additionally, Council of Higher Education (CHE) inspections, international rankings, and institutional data entry processes carried out within the scope of THEQC/CHE-MIS are meticulously managed by the Quality Assurance Office. Providing the necessary data for program accreditation, monitoring relevant performance indicators, and regularly tracking these processes are key components of the quality assurance mechanism. In this way, the university’s quality standards are sustainably maintained at both national and international levels.
