'YOKAK' Pride for Izmir University of Economics

Izmir University of Economics (IUE) has been awarded 'institutional accreditation' as a result of the evaluation conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK). Having successfully passed the examination in many areas such as education and training, research and development, social contribution, leadership, and management system, IUE has been rewarded for the right technological investments and strategic steps taken meticulously. YÖKAK President Prof. Dr. Ümit Kocabıçak presented the accreditation certificate to IUE Rector Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hakan Abacıoğlu at a ceremony hosted by Ege University.

WE WILL CONTINUE OUR PROJECTS WITH DETERMINATION

After the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Abacıoğlu said that they will continue to produce new projects with the aim of increasing the quality of education and added, "This accreditation we have received is not a destination for us. As a university; we will continue on our way by taking innovative steps in education, strengthening our work in research and development, producing projects, and fulfilling our responsibilities towards society. We will continue to raise young people who are well-equipped, self-confident, focused on production and innovation, who see contributing to society and science as the main priority that our country needs."

Prof. Dr. Abacıoğlu continued his words as follows: "Institutional accreditation is an indication that we are one of the most respected higher education institutions of our country with our technological infrastructure, our understanding of education and our academic staff. I would like to thank all the valuable members of our university who have contributed greatly to the creation of this picture."
