IUE Institutional Accreditation

Our university underwent an external evaluation process within the scope of the EUA Institutional Evaluation Programme during the 2008-2009 academic year and successfully completed the EUA Institutional Evaluation Programme Follow-up Process between April 24–27, 2012.

The THEQC External Evaluation process took place in December 2016, and an Institutional External Evaluation Report outlining our university's strengths and areas for improvement was prepared.

The THEQC Monitoring Programme was completed in January 2021, evaluating the activities carried out by our university between 2016 and 2020 to improve its areas open to development.

Within the scope of the THEQC Institutional Accreditation Programme, our university was visited and evaluated in 2022, following which an Institutional Accreditation Report (IAR) was prepared, and a conditional accreditation decision was granted.

Our university was visited and evaluated by an evaluation team between May 19–22, 2025, as part of the THEQC Institutional Accreditation Programme.

At its meeting on July 18, 2025, within the framework of the 2025 Interim Evaluation Programme, the Higher Education Quality Council (THEQC) evaluated our university according to the THEQC-Institutional External Evaluation and Accreditation Criteria and granted a Full Accreditation for 5 Years.

All external evaluation processes and reports are treated as opportunities for our university's advancement. Under the leadership of the Rectorate, academic and administrative units continuously carry out activities aimed at maintaining and strengthening our assets, while consistently improving areas open to development.
