Quality at IUE
IUE receives ‘Institutional Accreditation’ from THEQC
Our University underwent an external evaluation process within the scope of the EUA Institutional Evaluation Programme during the 2008-2009 academic year and successfully completed the EUA Institutional Evaluation Programme Follow-up Process (EUA Follow-up Program) between April 24-27, 2012.
The THEQC (Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye) External Evaluation process took place in December 2016, and the Institutional External Evaluation Report, which includes the University's strengths and areas for improvement, was prepared.
The THEQC Monitoring Program was completed in January 2021, evaluating the activities carried out by our university between 2016 and 2020 to improve its areas open to development.
Within the scope of the THEQC Institutional Accreditation Program, our University was visited in 2022, evaluated, an Institutional Accreditation Report (IAR) was prepared, and a conditional accreditation decision was granted.
Our University was visited and evaluated by the evaluation team between May 19-22, 2025, within the scope of the THEQC Institutional Accreditation Program, and the accreditation decision was granted.
All external evaluation processes and reports are regarded as opportunities for the development of the University; activities aimed at maintaining and enhancing strengths, as well as improving areas open to development, are sustained by academic and administrative units under the leadership of the Rectorate.
